The Yamada Photograph Collection contains a photograph of Mitsuye Yamada’s father, Jack Kaichiro Yasutake (d. 1953), former executive director of the Chicago Resettlers Committee(now known as the Japanese American Service Committee), and his office staff. Also included is a personal note from Mitsuye containing information about the inscription found on the back of the photograph.
